Three years ago yesterday I was the most giddy I have ever been. I mean seriously. I couldn't sleep, I woke up at the crack of dawn, (which people know I need my beauty sleep), packed my bags, got dressed, and was headed on my way that chilly sunny day.
I was on my way to FINALLY marry my handsome hunter after almost 5 years of dating. You know, I have to say that yesterday I woke up just a giddy as I did the day I married him. He has changed my life. Just look at the picture below. Who would have ever thunk it! I have my very own bow and my very own cowboy boots. I am still impressed to this day that I half way manage to pull this off.
He is absolutely the love of my life. Raw sense of humor that I dont always get, but love to hear him laugh! If you have ever heard him laugh you would understand.
(on a side note: Jamie and Zac would spend the night at my parents house on some weekends, and they stayed in a room right above my parents room, and one morning my mom was laughing to herself as I walked in the room , and I asked what she was laughing about, and she said that Jamie and Zac are like giddy little school girls at night when they get to laughing. They just could not stop once they got going! Gotta love it!
Jamie is the most selfless person I have ever met. I have always called him my Mr. Steady and everyday that is what he continues to be for our family. My Mr. Steady.
Our family was just not complete. Cuddling on the couch and watching a movie was not sufficient anymore... something was missing. Then little man came into our world and 2 was great, but 3 was even better. Brodie is our towel, sock, and dishrag eating little munchkin.
We have been truly blessed and 3 years has just flown by. You know what... I should monogram him a post 3 year anniversary shirt. I wonder if he would still be wearing that shirt 10 years from now like his Sneaky Petes shirt!
I never would have thought I could love someone so much, but I do. He is my handsome hunter, and my better half. Life is an adventure: I shoot guns now.. and bow hunt, and put blood on my face after my first deer kill, play dominoes, monogram everything, play in flower beds, sleep at the cabin, fish, play with my wild pupster, clean house frequently, wear cowboy boots with my shirt tail out, catch quail, eat supper for breakfast, and have deer heads mounted on my wall. Tell me that life is just not great!
If I am on this adventure called life, I am just glad he is there to be my better half.
It just fits...
